Global agricultural machinery company TYM (Co CEOs Hiyong Kim and Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced on the 2nd that it has successfully secured an order for its tractors in a government procurement tender organized by Slovakia’s Water Management Company. The 50 tractors awarded under this contract are scheduled for delivery by mid November.
Since entering the Slovak market in 2019, TYM has steadily maintained a market share of around 10%. Building on stable local performance, the company has won its first government procurement project in Eastern Europe, further strengthening brand awareness and trust in Slovakia.
Following the launches of the T68 and T78 in 2023 and the T115 in 2024, TYM introduced the new 130 horsepower T6130 model to the Eastern European market in 2025. As a result, sales in the 60 horsepower and above segment this year increased by 246% compared to total sales in the previous year, driving explosive growth, while total sales across Eastern Europe also grew by 21% on the same basis.

In 2024, TYM established its integrated European subsidiary, TYM EUROPE B.V., significantly strengthening its parts supply chain and customer service system. By delivering fast and reliable service, the company has boosted local customer trust and satisfaction. Leveraging this foundation, TYM has accelerated entry into new markets such as the Balkans, signing supply agreements this year with new partners in Bulgaria, Serbia, Latvia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with full scale deliveries beginning in the second half of the year. In addition, with government procurement projects scheduled across Eastern European countries, including Ukraine, TYM projects that its Eastern Europe sales will increase by more than 50% by year end.
A TYM spokesperson said, “This Slovak government procurement award is clear validation of TYM’s product competitiveness and localized service capabilities in the European market. By elevating our product lineup and delivering systematic customer support through our integrated European subsidiary, we will continue to raise customer satisfaction and expand our participation in overseas government procurement projects to strengthen our market influence.”
