Global agricultural machinery company TYM (Co-CEOs Hiyong Kim and Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced on the 2nd that it successfully held the “2025 TYM Roadshow” on September 23 in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro, Philippines.
The event was organized as part of a program supported by Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Held for the second consecutive year, the TYM Roadshow drew more than 1,200 local agricultural officials and farmers, achieving a strong turnout. Through live demonstrations of its tractors’ outstanding performance and advanced technologies, TYM further cemented its position as a key partner in driving the modernization of Philippine agriculture.
Through bid projects aligned with the Philippine government’s agricultural mechanization policy, TYM secured tractor orders totaling 1,870 units valued at KRW 35 billion over the past two years—1,220 units last year and 650 units this year. At the roadshow, a handover ceremony was held for the first 16 units from this year’s planned 650 unit supply, followed by tractor demonstrations, a brand briefing, and a luncheon that drew strong interest and engagement from attendees.
Dignitaries at the event included Henry Joel C. Teves, Mayor of Naujan; Humerlito A. Dolor, Governor of Oriental Mindoro; and Dr. Dionisio G. Alvindia, Director IV of PHilMech, who expressed strong expectations for collaboration with Korea and TYM. Governor Dolor stated, “Korea is a reliable partner, and the strength of K agricultural machinery will be a powerful driver of progress for Philippine agriculture.” Dr. Alvindia added, “We look forward to close cooperation with Korea to achieve agricultural mechanization and industrial development within the next 10 years,” emphasizing TYM’s role in the effort.

TYM has earned strong trust from local farmers through on site, close support services, including a proactive after sales (A/S) framework. Going forward, the company will move beyond simple equipment supply and continue comprehensive investments, including training technical personnel, establishing parts and service centers, and expanding field technical support, to further strengthen its position as a strategic partner helping build the broader agricultural value chain in the Philippines.
Additionally, in October, TYM will participate in AGRILINK 2025, the largest agricultural exhibition in the Philippines, to expand communication with local farmers. The company also plans to sign an MOU with the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech) to strengthen mid to long term cooperation, which is expected to further solidify TYM’s role as a key partner in the country’s agricultural modernization.
“TYM is a true partner that grows alongside local farmers, and we will continue to provide systematic and practical support where it is needed most on the ground,” said Ho gyeom Kim, Head of TYM’s Overseas Business Division. “Building on the advanced technology of TYM tractors, we will help enhance the competitiveness of the Philippine agricultural machinery industry and ensure that Korean agricultural machinery becomes a driving force at the heart of the country’s agricultural innovation.”
