TYM has officially launched its initiative to support regional development by establishing a nationwide network of five direct-operated plazas and donating to Naju City’s Hometown Love Fund.

TYM (Co-CEOs Hiyong Kim and Dohoon Kim / KOSDAQ: 002900), a global agricultural machinery leader, announced on June 11 that it has donated KRW 20 million to Naju City’s Hometown Love Fund and will open the ’Honam Plaza’ in the Naju Innovation Industrial Complex.

The donation ceremony, held on the morning of June 10, was attended by TYM CEO Dohoon Kim, Head of Domestic Business Dongik Kim, and Head of Strategic Planning Junhyung Jang. From Naju City, Mayor Byungtae Yoon, Director of Future Strategic Industries Minseok Kim, and Director of Employment and Economy Byeongcheol Shin were also present.

Naju, known for its fertile plains, has long been a center for agriculture-based industries. With the Korean government’s recent push for advanced agricultural technologies, the region is emerging as a strategic hub for agricultural innovation.

The newly opened ‘Honam Plaza’, set to launch in June, is located in Dongsu-dong within the Naju Innovation Industrial Complex, Jeollanam-do. The site spans a total area of 3,670 pyeong, including a 400-pyeong factory, a 500-pyeong main building, and a 70-pyeong office wing. As a directly operated multifunctional facility, Honam Plaza offers product exhibitions, customer service, training, and even tractor assembly and production. This integrated setup enables faster and more seamless responses to the diverse needs of local customers.

Additionally, ‘Yeongnam Plaza’, located in Geumam-ri, Dongmyeon, Chilgok-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, is also scheduled to open in June. With this addition, TYM completes its nationwide network of five directly operated plazas, following the Jungbu, Chungcheong, and Cheorwon Plazas. Each plaza functions as a strategic hub, enhancing service speed and parts support while serving as a versatile space for demonstrations, showrooms, and training programs—going beyond the role of a typical office.

Both Honam and Yeongnam Plazas are set to host open houses and customer invitation events between late June and early July, creating more opportunities for direct engagement and hands-on product experiences. Through these events, TYM aims to strengthen its brand presence and reinforce its role as an agricultural machinery company committed to local community partnerships.

A TYM representative stated, “This donation to Naju City’s Hometown Love Fund goes beyond monetary support—it reflects our philosophy of growing together with the region,” adding, “With our regional plazas in Honam, Yeongnam, and beyond, we aim to expand customer touchpoints and become a company that delivers tangible value to local economies.
