- TYM signs MOU with Chungnam Province, Yesan County, and others to establish an eco-friendly digital agricultural mobility industry ecosystem, strengthening regional industrial cooperation
- Participating in the cluster through its subsidiary TYMICT, accelerating the development of eco-friendly and digital agricultural machinery technologies based on testing and demonstration infrastructure
- Supporting Chungnam’s rise as a hub for the K-agricultural machinery industry by establishing a testing base for autonomous and electrified agricultural machinery

TYM is accelerating the creation of an eco-friendly digital agricultural mobility industry ecosystem and the development of related technologies.
Global agricultural machinery leader TYM (Co-CEOs: Hiyong Kim and Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced on the 16th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chungcheongnam-do Province, Yesan-gun County, and other partners to establish an “Eco-Friendly Digital Agriculture Mobility Industrial Ecosystem in Chungnam.”
The signing ceremony was held on the 5th at the Yesan County Office, with key figures in attendance including Choi Jae-gu, Mayor of Yesan County; Jeon Hyeong-sik, Deputy Governor for Political Affairs of Chungcheongnam-do; Kim Shin-gil, Chairman of the Korea Agricultural Machinery Cooperative; Jang Han-gi, Executive Director at TYM; Kim Jeong-gyeom, President of Chungnam National University; and Ryu Seok-hyun, President of the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials.
The agreement was initiated following Yesan County’s final selection of the “Chungnam Digital Agricultural Mobility Industry Promotion” project in the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s 2025 Industrial Innovation Infrastructure Construction Program. The aim is to foster the related industrial ecosystem and establish a foundation for technology development and demonstration. Participating organizations will collaborate to build and activate the “Naepo Bio-Convergence Industrial Cluster,” which will be established on approximately 500,000 pyeong (about 1,653,000 square meters) of land in Sapgyo-eup, Yesan County. Over the next five years, a total of KRW 21.2 billion (including KRW 10 billion in national funding) will be invested in this initiative.
The main focus of the agreement is the joint cooperation for creating an eco-friendly digital agricultural mobility industry ecosystem in Chungnam and for activating the cluster. South Chungcheong Province and Yesan County will oversee the creation of the industrial complex and provide administrative support. The Korea Agricultural Machinery Cooperative will support participation and investment attraction by its member companies. TYM, along with other domestic agricultural machinery manufacturers such as DIC Co., Ltd. and Asia Technology Co., Ltd., will work closely together to utilize the site and promote industry development.
TYM, through its subsidiary TYMICT located in the Chungnam region, is participating in the cluster development project, focusing on testing and demonstrating its eco-friendly agricultural machinery and digital mobility products by utilizing durability testing equipment and a digital data-driven environment. In particular, the cluster will be equipped with a range of advanced technology infrastructure, including equipment for building a soil and workload database based on precision soil analysis, remote monitoring systems for autonomous driving tests, powertrain and motor dynamometers, and digital twin-based design analysis tools.
With this agreement, TYM plans to actively foster an industrial ecosystem necessary for corporate activities centered around the Naepo Agri-Bio Convergence Industry Cluster, accelerating the development of eco-friendly digital agricultural mobility technologies. Going forward, this cluster will also serve as a testbed for the testing and certification of autonomous and electrified agricultural machinery products, and is expected to play a pivotal role in establishing Chungnam as the hub of the K-agricultural machinery industry.
A TYM representative stated, “By creating an industrial ecosystem optimized for business activities centered around the Naepo Agri-Bio Convergence Industry Cluster and securing a testing foundation for autonomous and electrified agricultural machinery, we will accelerate the development of future agricultural technologies. We are committed to contributing to Chungnam’s emergence as the center of the K-agricultural machinery industry and leading sustainable agricultural innovation.”
