  • TYM carries out environmental cleanup activities at Sudosan Park in the first half of 2025, with 24 employees participating
  • Park established with in-house cafeteria profits, including waste collection and maintenance around commemorative markers
  • Regular cleanup activities to continue in the second half of the year, further strengthening ESG management and community engagement

Global agricultural machinery specialist TYM (Co-CEOs: Hiyong Kim, Dohoon Kim / 002900) announced on the 19th that employees from its Iksan plant participated in an environmental cleanup at Sudosan Park, a local landmark in Iksan, Jeollabuk-do.

A total of 24 employees from TYM’s Iksan plant took part in this activity, collecting waste such as discarded vinyl, cigarette butts, and plastic fragments in the tree planting area—established through the company’s donations—and its surrounding areas, helping to improve the park’s environment.

In January, TYM donated 13 million KRW from its in-house cafeteria profits to the “Green Iksan Movement Headquarters,” a non-profit organization. The donation was used to support Iksan City’s “Planting Five Million Trees” campaign, funding tree planting and the installation of commemorative markers within Sudosan Park. Through this cleanup, employees directly tended the green space created by their donations, revisiting the meaning of giving and contributing to the creation of a sustainable urban environment.

TYM’s environmental cleanup efforts began in 2015 with its first activity on Mireuksan Mountain Trail and have since become a regular local eco-friendly campaign, with employees participating twice a year. Through these initiatives, the company practices ESG management and leads the way in mutual growth with the local community.

A TYM representative who participated in the event commented, “This activity, where we revisited and cared for a space created by our own donations, was more than just volunteering—it was a meaningful step toward building a sustainable society. We will continue to make tangible contributions to the local community.”

TYM also plans to conduct further environmental cleanups in the second half of the year, maintaining its commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainable development.
