Global agricultural machinery manufacturer TYM (Co-CEOs Hiyong Kim and Dohoon Kim / 002900) took part in Europe’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition, ‘AGRITECHNICA 2025’, held in Hanover, Germany, from 9 to 15 November, where it officially announced the transition to a manufacturer-direct sales model in Germany and France, declaring a major strategic shift for the European market.
Starting in 2026, TYM will shift its sales structure in the German and French markets from the existing importer-based model to a manufacturer direct sales system, while reorganizing its parts supply chain and service network around its European subsidiary in the Netherlands, TYM EUROPE B.V. The company will establish a transparent customer response framework in which the manufacturer directly manages all aspects of pricing, quality and after-sales service, and in parallel will gradually establish local assembly plants and expand its supply chain to further enhance consistency in product quality and service across the European market. During the exhibition, TYM also laid the groundwork for cooperative relationships with new business partners beyond Europe, including Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

At its exhibition booth, TYM displayed six core tractor models for the European market in the 25 to 115 horsepower range (T255, T25, F50, T475, 5025, T115), allowing visitors to easily compare the full product lineup and performance at a glance. The company also unveiled a new global integrated model naming system, scheduled for implementation in the first half of 2026, which will make it easier for customers to understand each model’s size and horsepower range directly from its name.
Within the exhibition, the “Smart Solution Zone” was designed to let customers experience the latest digital technologies firsthand, including telematics and autonomous driving. TYM’s smart precision agriculture subsidiary, TYMICT, conducted live demonstrations of its autonomous driving kit “AGDICT,” while the “T-CARE Zone” showcased genuine TYM parts, kits and after-sales programs, and the “Goods Zone” provided a branded experience space — all contributing to higher visitor satisfaction.
Ho-Gyeom Kim, Head of TYM’s Global Business Division, said, “Transitioning to a direct sales model is a strategic decision to provide European customers with more reliable services and a more systematic sales and after-sales experience,” adding, “Building on this exhibition, we will further strengthen our competitiveness in the European market and establish a solid foundation for sustainable growth.”
